Leisure Leader Wanted at Britsarvsskolan

We at Britsarvsskolan are now looking for you who want to work as a leisure leader with us during the spring term. Do you want to contribute to ensuring that all our students thrive and develop in their learning at the leisure center? We want to work together with you who are ready to take on the challenge of contributing to the development at Britsarvsskolan.

You are the leisure leader who, with your expertise, can complement our team. You want to work together with the other staff at the leisure center to develop our leisure center activities to meet all students' needs and ensure that the leisure center complements the students' school day.

At the school, you will find most of what you could wish for; qualified teachers, a cohesive student health service, a good atmosphere among colleagues and between teachers, students, and guardians. In our student health work, we follow the model Together for Every Child, which means working from a holistic perspective around the student where early detection and early interventions are important parts. We have a well-regarded school library and a newly renovated school restaurant. The leisure center has access to its own premises but also uses the schoolyard and the surrounding area in its teaching. Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team with other staff at the leisure center, where you together plan and are responsible for ensuring that the students' day is safe, stimulating, and developmental. Together with the team, you will identify development needs for the leisure center and participate with other professionals at the school in the development work.

You will work with colleagues to create, lead, and implement organized activities with student participation during breaks, in collaborative sessions, and before and after school hours at the leisure center. During school hours, you will support the work in classes by working with individual students, in smaller groups, or as an additional adult in the classroom. Our focus is to create the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Leisure leader education or other relevant education and/or experience for the position
• Confidence and stability in the role as an adult in meetings with children and youth

Personal Qualities

You are a confident and clear leader with a focus on the student's learning and safety. We see you as a person who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships and that you have a high competence to meet students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. You view the student's learning from a holistic perspective and have the ability to create good student and parent contacts.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working at a leisure center
• Familiarity with the governing documents of the leisure center and school
• Experience in creative work

Employment Conditions

Full-time temporary position from January 7 to June 5, 2026. Please attach educational certificates/credentials in your application as these will be requested if you are considered for the position.
